About Me
My name is Diane, I am the owner of Lily Rosa Interiors which I established in 2014. Prior to launching my business I had spent many years in the corporate world. Whilst I loved my job as a Training Consultant it became clear that my interest and passion for all things interiors and design was far greater. It was time for change!
As a child I used to watch my Mum sew – she was a seamstress for Simpsons of Piccadilly. I have fond memories of my Mum’s old Singer Sewing machine sitting in the corner of my bedroom. It was richly decorated with ornate designs complete with a handle that you would turn and a manual foot pedal. When I was old enough my Mum taught me to sew. I would alter my own clothes, make clothes for my dolls, anything that would allow me to use a sewing machine. That was long time ago! In my 20’s I began making curtains and accessories for my own home, family and friends. So, in 2014 I took the plunge, obtained a recognised qualification in curtain making to polish my skills and from there, Lily Rosa Interiors was born.
